If you answered yes to these questions, maybe you should consider entering the health care field. Express Training Services was founded in 2004 by Sherri and Tony Kalishman. Sherri and Tony have been in the health care industry for many years. Sherri is a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in direct patient care. She also has extensive teaching and management experience. Tony has a vast amount of experience in administration, management, and operations for nurse aide competency testing throughout the United States. Together, they had a dream of being able to assist adult learners of all levels of education to enter the health care field. Their first school opened in Gainesville, Florida in 2004, and they've been helping students realize their life goals ever since.
They understand that many people who would love to start a career in health care choose not to take the first step for a variety of reasons, the most common being the time it takes to get trained and prepared properly. Express Training Services works with anyone who is motivated to pursue a career in health care and make a difference in people’s lives. Sherri and Tony work with a dynamic group of instructors throughout the United States. Everyone at Express Training Services believe that there is no such thing as a “throwaway” student. They offer tutoring and additional sessions for all students free of charge.
Do you want to be a CNA?
Express Training Services offer classes to prepare students for the Florida CNA state certification exam in Gainesville, Lake City, Ocala, Ft. Myers, Naples, and Vero Beach. Not only will the student obtain all of the necessary preparation for the exam but the student will also be able to take the state exam in the same location that the class was given. Express Training Services locations are State Approved Testing Centers.
We also offer the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider Course and AHA First Aid. Check out the packages we offer and see what works best for you.
Do you want to learn about phlebotomy and EKG’s?
Express Training Services also offers hands-on workshops in Phlebotomy and EKG. These workshops are led by highly skilled instructors who provide valuable practical knowledge and technique in their areas of expertise. The classes are small in order to provide the type of learning environment one would expect.
Do you want to obtain your home health aide certificate?
Offered in our Gainesville office only. This course will enable the student to obtain an 80 hour state approved HHA certificate. This certificate never expires. The course is offered quarterly.
Do you want to be a pharmacy technician?
This 6 week course is taught entirely by a pharmacist. The class meets (live) once per week and will prepare a student to sit for the National Certification Exam (offered by PTCB). Express Training Services will register the student for the exam and provide all the textbooks and practice exams. The state of Florida Board of Pharmacy requires that all Pharmacy Techs must be nationally certified by January, 2010. Enter an exciting field with job security, satisfaction, and fantastic benefits!
